Agatha Ruiz de la Prada

Last day in Barcelona and while I thought I have seen everything to be seen, I bumped into another shopping window that caught my eye!
It was the PINK revelation! A whole store painted in PINK! From the floors to the ceilings..from the stairs to the cashier's desk! As for the window display, two puffy plastic dresses were there -the ones that would drive Bjork
crazy!
Another interesting finding was that the prices of the clothes and accessories were more than welcome! Take a look at Agatha Ruiz de la Prada site and you'll feel like you were surrounded by a rainbow! (Also for the biker types, the ARdlP helmets just ROCK)

The anatomy of a Chanel window!

Despite being an Athenian, I'm almost never interested in checking Boukourestiou str where all the high end brands have their stores! In Barcelona though, the Barcelonian "Boukourestiou" Paseo de Gracia was quite near to our hotel and we walked up and down the street many times! It was a true revelation to look at the shopping windows and in some cases it was as enjoyable as looking at those Gaudi buildings!

Chanel window was one of those windows that caught my eye! Let's just leave behind the hayloft theme -not even tell me about the chanel bags inside the "supermarket baskets"! I was mostly amazed by the fact that the dummies were not only dressed head to toe in Chanel but they even had THOSE tattoo's and this season's nail polishes on them, too! Don't know about the lipstick but something tells me that the color is equal to the ones you can find in stores this very moment!
Now we're talking about advertising the entire collection!

For as I know the Chanel dummies were the most chic dummies around town!

...Con cariƱo, Barcelona!

I'm back! Barcelona is all about Gaudi and nameless streets waiting to be discovered!...I did both (plus some serious window shopping around town) so expect more soon!

Fashion Bloggers Do's and Don'ts!

Now that a full blogging-year has passed, I often think of all the things that we have done (blog-wise) and I smile!
Last year I saw for the first time my face printed in a magazine (I sympathize Carrie Bradshaw when she looked absolutely horrible in that magazine cover). It was the first photoshoot I've ever done and I was stressed as hell! I certainly don't blame the photographer for that pose of mine!
Well...Now- a year later- I find it rather amusing that I went to a town nearby Athens in the middle of the night just to buy the magazine before it ever hit Athens stands!

That's why, Glamour will always be in my heart as the magazine who DID IT ALL! I may be the last of the gang to post about our April feature, but it's never too late for doing that, right? Danai Christopoulou asked me, Chloe, AleccaRox,QueenB and Elena about the Spring/Summer '10 trends we most loved and most hated and by reading the feature you'll get not only our answers but our style point-of-views as well! None of us answered in the same way and that's what I find the most interesting! 5 girls 5 styles! 10 things to love and 10 to hate!

My list goes on like this:

I most liked the pastel tones that I saw in many collections but I wasn't impressed with the return of the military look (boring..)
As for accessories, I loved Phillip Lim's red details but I completely loath the return of the clogs (I can't stand that clok-clok sound that they make)

Once again, THANK YOU Glamour!

Teenage dirtbags!

With all this talk on recycling materials, eco fashion, vintage and second-hand, the world suddenly seems more creative!

I just found at Design*Spoon, the..trashbag work of artist Josh Blackwell! What he basically did was to take plastic bags (like the million ones you all have, piled in your kitchen drawers) and knit all kinds of motives on them! I don't think that these bags are for use but imagine you all went to the super market with that knitted bag of yours! That would be seriously funny....
And because you may think that trash can only be seen in art galleries....Marc Jacobs designed especially for Louis Vuitton the following bag that I think is now available at all LV stores!

Is it a new trend or what?

My lazy obsessions

Well...I'm back from holidays but as I'm leaving again in a few days for sunny Barcelona, I refuse to admit it! These days except of serious working, I'm in a mood for only reading my books, not spending money (in order to spend it all at Barcelona) and spending as much time outside home as possible (blame the time change for that)...
As for the clothes that I'm wearing..nothing new (you see Barcelona has Topshop and COS ;) )I'm only in the mood for mixing all my clothes together! The latest obsession is dots and stripes!

Ok I think you get it by now, dots, stripes and florals are the patterns that I live in these days!

expect more interesting outfit posts by the end of the following week! xx's!
