Tag your tee!

So, following my previous post, here are six out of the ten tees that I made especially for the Fashion Playground event! As I wrote also at the small cards that I placed at the tees they are not a perfectionist's item as they have many small imperfections! I just hope that I made the people that won them happy for having them!!!
Personally speaking, I was really happy to meet some of the winners! I hope that the rest of you, will see this post and "tag your t-shirt" in order to -at least- "virtually" meet you!

The rest of the fash bloggers did an amazing job as well and the craziest thing is that at the end of the event there were still people asking for more t-shirts! Chic and Ethic lab also transformed some more t-shirts and Streetgeist were inside to take pictures of the Levi's make overs!...

Oh YES! We were ALL there!!!!

Fashion Playground

Fashion Playground is held tonight and us fashion bloggers will be there with an exciting project on the run! We are sponsored by Levi's Jeans and we are going to transform simple white t-shirts!
I was ultra excited about this project (you know my love for d.i.y) and instead of a "creative sunday" this time I did almost a "creative week" for managing to complete some t-shirts!!!
I already made 8 of them, if you're lucky enough tonight you'll have the chance to win one of them, if not, at least come and meet us!!!

Enter fashion playground site and discover the rest of the events that are going to take place in a few hours!!!!

Queen B placed the logo "bloggers will be there, u?" and I thought I had to post it as well! credits to Bee!!!

Blue my mind!

Ok tell me stupid but in my little world exists a person whose job is to find funny names for products!!!Just like the actor who plays at "500 days of summer" and his job is to find catchy lines for wishing cards!

That's why I immediately laughed when I discovered that the electric blue nail polish that I just bought from H&M instead of the boring code number had "blue my mind" code instead!
Now, the next time you visit H&M know that the weird person that is standing next to you looking at all the nail polish codes is going to be..me! Say hello! =)

Another Sunday, Another Photoshoot!

These days are hectic, people! Interviews, photo shoots and all the surreal things I never thought I would have to squeeze into my everyday life! No, no don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining, of course I enjoy every single minute of these weeks!!!!

So, yesterday -Sunday morning- and I drunk the first coffee of the day with the company of great photographer Stathis Mamalakis, lovely make-up artist Christos Michailidis and two of my fellow fash bloggers Elena and Margarita! Oh So Chic girls Eleni and Maria arrived some hours later, too! We were all invited by BHMAdonna magazine to do a photoshoot and an interview as we all participated at the last GGD dedicated to fashion blogs! (you remember right? no need to place the link!)

What I love the most about the photoshoots is that I have the chance to meet in person all these creative people and discover not only their personal studios but also the way that they work!

Photographer Stathis Mamalakis has his studio in the central Athens. The large windows with a view to the nearby block of flats and the white paper-made inside "walls" (bought from Carteco as Stathis later told me) stole my immediate attention! Then, the photoshoot took place, the outfit that I wore at last was not the one I snapped but you'll have the chance to see the final result at the next BHMAdonna issue!

Exciting!

I could be so lucky!

I'm so happy that fashion blogs start to get some deserved attention these days! Lucky magazine is one of those mags that prove their love to us and that's why instead of one single presentation, for the next few issues you are going to see as many fash blogs as possible!
Mine, Queen B's and Battered Couture's were the first to get the whole page! Many more to come, so go and grab a Lucky mag now..and do the same the next month..and the next month...etc!!!!

Thank you Lucky!

Langoliers as for colies!

Langoliers name comes from a Stephen King novel, in which langoliers are little monsters made of old hair and teeth (source refinery29)!
It may sound as a creepy name for a jewelry brand especially if you know the story behind the name but the brand itself is definitely not creepy! Langoliers used wool and metal and the collection's main theme "Delta Flood" is inspired by organic sea forms and nautical motifs.
We are surely talking of "massive necklaces" here but for some reason I can't take my eyes off them!

Too bad I can't find them anywhere..I read that they are available at oak, but at the site I can only find one necklace instead of the whole collection! The prices range between $92-$110 so if you are a lucky New Yorker you just found the next hip thing for your wardrobe!

Tell this Story...Again!

I think I am the last one of the bloggers to make this post and I didn't have the time to do it the "AleccaRox" way -one designer per post- but at least you get the idea of what Tell-A-Story was like from my point of view! These are the items that stole my attraction, of course there were many more designers that I loved but If I posted their pics, too this post would be endless!!!
Tell-A-Story this time took part in a brand new place (never visited it before to be true) called Miga! It's at Psirri area and it looks really promising!
As for the designers, this time there were less but as Striggla and some others told me, they prefered it this way as it was more concentrated and it was more business-appropriate due to the lack of an open shop!

Akira Mushi is a brand that I first met during the last Meet Market and I'm more than enthousiastic with them! This piece of clothing that I wore during the last SWAP is actually Akira Mushi!

Ippolito is the brand that Pavlina Papailiopoulou has created some months ago after she returned from Italy where she had worked for Bottega Veneta among others! Loved her bags, loved meeting her in person and had a sneak preview of her Fall 2010 collection
(beyond words!)!

Last but not least, another designer that caught my eye was Cyprus based Alexia Kirmitsi and her brand "hysteria asteria"! Didn't post any pictured because the quality of pics didn't match with the perfection of the clothes but at the end of the post you can check the posts that my fellow fash bloggers have made for the event!

Take a look at the facebook event's page for the complete list of the designers!
